Sunderland winger Adam Johnson has won the Barclays Player of the Month award for January, whilst Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini won the Barclays Manager of the Month award. Johnson scored five times in four league games, including the first hat-trick of his career during the 4-1 away victory at Fulham.
City scored 14 times as they won all four of their league matches in January and they also reached the final of the League Cup and the fifth round of the FA Cup.
