Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure insists he will back to his absolute best next season.
The 32-year old experienced somewhat of a disappointing individual campaign in 2014/15 after national team duties with the Ivory Coast took their toll.
Toure captained his country at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil last summer before leading them to victory at the 2015 African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea in January and February and is now ready to recharge the batteries this off-season.
"I am looking at next season and I will start working again, because last season there has been a lot of football for me," said Toure in an interview with the Manchester Evening News.
"Now is a good time to rest and next season you are going to see the top one."
