Philadelphia Union have announced a multi-year stadium naming rights deal with car manufacturer Subaru of America, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
The Union's home ground, formerly known as Talen Energy Stadium, will now be named Subaru Park. The deal also sees Subaru become the exclusive automotive partner of the franchise.
The financial terms of the agreement were not made public, although the club's previous stadium naming rights contract signed in 2010 with energy company PPL was worth US$20 million over 11 years.
The deal marks the first time that Subaru has partnered with a major league sports team.
