Stuttgart striker Vedad Ibisevic admits turning down Stoke City over the summer.
The 30-year-old striker was reported to be on Mark Hughes's radar at the World Cup, as well as Wolfsburg's veteran Croatia forward Ivica Olic.
"There was some thought (about joining Stoke), but I pushed it aside quickly..." Ibisevic told Kicker.
Stoke's interest might have prompted Stuttgart to improve the offer they had on the table for Ibisevic.
