Stuttgart striker Pogrebnyak wants to face Arshavin's Arsenal

Stuttgart striker Pavel Pogrebnyak wants Arsenal in the Champions League knockouts.

Pogrebnyak hopes his team lands Arsenal in the last 16 of the Champions League so that he can go head-to-head with Russia team-mate Andrey Arshavin.

The two forwards shared a successful partnership at Zenit St Petersburg and would love a reunion when the draw takes place on Friday.

"I want to play against Arshavin," said Pogrebnyak. "I've not seen Andrey and would love to meet him. On the pitch, even more so. Arsenal, of course, are one of Europe's top team, probably the best at passing the ball. But, I repeat, I very much want to see Arshavin and talk to him."
