Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko may end up at AS Roma if German club Stuttgart get their way.
The Russian has been linked with a complicated move that will see Stuttgart purchase him from Tottenham and then loan him out to Italian Serie A outfit Roma.
It is believed that the company interested in buying Roma, who are struggling financially, have links to the ownership of Stuttgart which would mean that the proposed deal would become a reality.
Pavlyuchenko said he knew nothing of the mooted deal.
"At the moment I'm switched off from football and news connected with it," he said.
"First we had a good rest on the Cote d'Azur, and now I'm with my daughter in Sochi.
"I don't read newspapers, hardly look at the internet and nobody calls me, thank god."
