Stuart Pearce has rejected the Nottingham Forest job offer.

Former captain Pearce has turned down the chance to return to the club where he spent 12 years as a player, but ambassador John McGovern revealed Gianfranco Zola, Glenn Hoddle and Malky Mackay are also under consideration, as well as others.

Forest owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi has claimed he is 'close' to appointing a new manager - who has an association with the club.
