Gordon Strachan says one of his goals as Scotland manager is to make the nation happy.
The former Southampton, Celtic and Middlesbrough boss was in a buoyant mood after his side ended their World Cup qualification campaign with a 2-0 win over Croatia in Glasgow on Tuesday night and was hoping he could guide the team to more similar victories in the future.
"When you're national team manager that's what you want to do, make the nation happy," Strachan said.
"But it's the players who have turned everything round and they can be proud of themselves.
"Now it's a long wait until our next competitive match at the start of the qualifiers for the Euro Championship finals in France in 2016 but I'm all right with that."
