Stoke City winger Oussama Assaidi admits he enjoys playing for manager Mark Hughes.
On-loan Liverpool winger Assaidi paid tribute to the Welshman for the role he has played in helping him to establish himself as one of the most creative and potent attackers in the first team squad.
"A player like me needs to feed off the confidence of the coach," he told stokecityfc.com.
"He must trust me, and he must give me time on the pitch. I need time to do what I feel I am good at, which is taking defenders on, putting balls into the box and scoring goals as well.
"Mark has been fantastic with me, because he always tells me what to do, he shows me how hard I need to work to track back and defend, which I like to do, but he also likes me to go forward and try to create things too.
"I feel that he and his staff have belief in me and that makes me feel very good and it allows me to express myself on the pitch and bring out the quality that I know I have."
