Stoke City are tracking Ghana youth defender Godfred Donsah.

Ghana Soccernet says Stoke have watched the young defender, who can also play in a defensive midfield role.

The 19-year-old is currently playing in Italy for Cagliari and Stoke manager Mark Hughes is said to be excited about his power and aggression.

Donsah, who has played seven Serie A games this season, has also had trials with AS Roma.
