Stoke City goalscorer Peter Crouch hailed Geoff Cameron after their 1-1 draw at Newcastle United.

Crouch's late, late header came from the American's cross.

"I've scored a few headers in my time and that ranks up there," said the 34-year-old.

"It was a great ball from Geoff Cameron. He had done one just before that so I knew what was coming. It's always nice to see the ball nestle in the back of the net.

"We played some great stuff, certainly towards the end. Before they scored we were dominant so it was frustrating to go one behind, but credit to everyone for pulling it back."
