Stoke City defender Marc Wilson has welcomed new manager Mark Hughes.

Hughes signed a three-year deal at the club on Thursday and Wilson cannot wait to get going.

Wilson said: "I've not met Mark yet but he's done a great job wherever he's been.

"But, that's football. People come and go and we wish Tony [Pulis] all the best. He did a terrific job and we have a new manager now and everyone will be trying to impress him."
