Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has hailed the form of Charlie Adam after victory over Aston Villa.

Crouch felt Adam changed the game coming off the bench.

"Charlie was a key substitution. He added a bit of quality in there," said Crouch to The Sentinel.

"He likes to make those runs off me. I managed to find him and it was a great finish. He's scored a few like that this season."
