QPR's move for Stoke City striker Peter Crouch is on hold.
The Daily Star Sunday says Loftus Road boss Redknapp is facing the sack unless his west London strugglers start climbing away from the danger zone soon.
And that means his planned £3million offer could be blocked.
Crouch, 33, is out of contract in June, meaning the Potters' record £10m buy can walk away on a free transfer.
And that could open the door for West Brom boss Tony Pulis, who signed Crouch at Stoke.
