Stoke City signing Peter Crouch has no plans for international retirement.
Crouch said he took inspiration from Manchester United legend David Beckham, now of LA Galaxy, who was famously dropped by Steve McClaren but returned to out-last him at international level.
"David Beckham has played to the age of 36 and he looks as fit as a fiddle," he said.
"I'm sure I'll be the same. I've never been the quickest anyway so I'm not going to lose any pace. I'm sure I can go on for a few more years yet."
