Stoke City signing Peter Crouch is amazed by the welcome he's received from fans since his arrival from Tottenham.
Crouch insists he owes a debt of gratitude to the supporters who went wild over his record-busting move.
Stoke smashed the club record to get the beanpole striker on deadline day and Crouch says it's payback time.
He said: "It was crazy really. I don't think I've seen anything like it. It was, like, half-past one in the morning and there were 800-1,000 fans there singing my name - it was very flattering. I'm very thankful for the welcome they gave me and hopefully I can repay them out there with my performances on the pitch and some goals."
