Brek Shea could catch a number of Premier League defences by surprise next season suggests Stoke City manager Mark Hughes.
The 23-year old winger, who joined the Potters from FC Dallas in January, is currently on duty with the USA team at the CONCACAF Gold Cup but Hughes is keen for him to soon return so he can prepare for the season ahead.
"From my point of view, in the Premier League, he's a bit of an unknown quantity and he hasn't been able to have the impact as of yet that his ability deserves," Hughes said during Stoke's pre-season tour of the US.
"I'm looking forward to working with him and am just frustrated at the moment that I haven't seen sight or sound of him."
