Stoke's Hughes: N'Zonzi is integral to our process

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is holding hope that Steven N'Zonzi remains with the club next season and beyond.

The French midfielder stayed short of committing to the Potters in a recent interview with The Sentinel but Hughes is determined to keep him at the Britannia Stadium as the Staffordshire club looks to continue building.

"I think he is enjoying his football at the moment," Hughes said.

"I have seen quotes in recent articles and I think all he is saying is that, like all the guys at the club, he is concentrating on getting to the end of the season, making sure we get as many points as we can and seeing where it takes us.

"We are trying to build the club and build the team, and he is very much integral to that process."
