Maurice Edu and Corey Ashe have been withdrawn from the USA squad for upcoming friendlies.
The US side meets Belgium in Cleveland on Wednesday prior to the June 2 clash with Germany in Washington but will be without Stoke City midfielder Edu and Houston Dynamo defender Ashe.
Edu recently returned to England following his loan spell with Turkish side Bursaspor and has been diagnosed with a sports hernia by the Potters medical staff whilst Ashe sustained a groin injury in the weekend's 1-1 draw with Sporting Kansas City.
US boss Juergen Klinsmann has not called in any replacements at this stage as he prepares for a trio of vital World Cup qualifiers in June.
