Stoke City are still showing interest in Sunderland's Lee Cattermole.

Reports suggest that Potters boss Mark Hughes is monitoring midfielder Cattermole's contract situation at the Stadium of Light.

It is believed that the 27-year old, who is under contract with the Black Cats until the summer of 2016, has put any talks of an extension on hold as the Wearside club strive to stave off relegation from the Premier League.
