Stoke City are showing plenty of interest in Evian winger Daniel Wass.

The Daily Mail reports that the Potters have opened talks with the Ligue 1 club over the possible transfer of Wass, 25, who can also be deployed at full-back.

The 25-year old Denmark international, who has been scouted by the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United over the past year, is believed to be available for around £3.5million.

Wass has also been linked with Italian club Inter Milan and Germany's Schalke recently.
