Stoke City have offered Peter Crouch to West Bromwich Albion as part of a deal to sign Saido Berahino, according to reports from The Sun.
It is no secret that Stoke are currently interested in securing the services of want-away Baggies striker Berahino but the Potters have had a bid of around £16million rejected for the 22-year-old by Albion.
Despite the failed bid, Stoke are not looking to raise their offer for Berahino and are instead prepared to throw in Crouch as an improvement to the prospective deal.
Towering veteran Crouch is desperate for regular game time, which he has found hard to come by at the Britannia Stadium in recent times, and could relish a fresh start in the West Midlands having being in Staffordshire since 2011.
