Stoke City must cough up a fee for Rangers midfielder Maurice Edu.
The Daily Star Sunday says the Potters will have to pay £500,000 for Rangers' Maurice Edu.
It was thought that the USA international, 26, might be available as a free agent due to the cash crisis at Rangers who have been demoted to the Scottish League Division Three.
But Stoke - at home to Arsenal today - have accepted they will have to stump up a fee for midfielder Edu.
