Stoke City midfielder Steven Nzonzi admits he's trying to do more with his passing game.
The 25-year-old Frenchman has defended his passing style by admitting he hates losing possession, but he says he is now fine-tuning his approach after being told to gamble more by boss Mark Hughes.
"I like to keep the ball and I pass it sideways because I don't like to lose it," he explained to the Stoke Sentinel. "If I do have the chance to pass it forward, I now know I have to do that more. The manager is telling me to take more risks. Everyone is telling me!
"I know I have to take more risks, but I just don't like losing the ball. I will start to take more risks, hopefully."
