Stoke City are launching a bid for Rangers midfielder Lee McCulloch.

The Daily Mail says manager Tony Pulis rates the midfielder-cum-striker highly and wants to take the former Wigan player back to England. A Stoke bid of around £2million might tempt Rangers, with Walter Smith having already signed powerful front players in Kenny Miller, Kyle Lafferty and Andrius Velicka.
