Stoke City are keeping tabs on Andy Carroll's situation at West Ham United.

The Mail on Sunday says Stoke boss Mark Hughes has insisted he won't sell Peter Crouch to QPR in January.

Indeed, Hughes is set to offer Crouch a new deal.

But if that does not come to pass then Hughes may change his mind if West Ham's Carroll proves his fitness and becomes available during the next transfer window.
