Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross believes that the Potters' goalkeeping situation is in safe hands despite reports linking first choice gloveman Asmir Begovic with a move away from the Britannia Stadium.
Bosnia-Herzegovina international Begovic is being linked with a summer departure but his reported exit can be covered according to central defender Shawcross.
"We have an abundance of good goalkeepers. If he[Begovic] stays that's great and we've got two world class keepers fighting for one spot, if he does leave then Jack Butland is already a brilliant keeper," said Shawcross in a Q and A with supporters at the Britannia.
"Whatever happens the club is in safe hands." The 27-year old has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
