Stoke keeper Begovic to take holidays before pondering future

Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic says he is focused on spending some time away from football before thinking about his future.

The 25-year old Bosnian has attracted the attentions of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in recent months with reports suggesting the Potters will sell him after signing promising youngster Jack Butland from Birmingham City.

Begovic says there have been no offers for his services thus far and admits he is not thinking about the possibility of departing the Britannia Stadium just yet.

"Now, I'm on my way for a holiday, but I don't know yet what will happen," Begovic told SportSport.

"Will I leave Stoke City? There are many rumours, but so far I didn't get any concrete offers. But that doesn't mean that I will not get one.

"Right now, I don't want to think about all that. First, I need some days off, then I have an important match with my national team."
