In-form Stoke keeper Asmir Begovic is hoping to maintain his current level of performance in order to keep his place in Tony Pulis' side, reports Sporting Life. The Potters are currently in the top half of the table following a five-game unbeaten run, and Begovic, in the team ahead of Thomas Sorensen, has played a key part.
"Personally it's nice for me to get a run of games in the team and fantastic for the manager to put confidence in me, so I am trying to repay him," Begovic told the Sentinel.
"But I know I have to be on it every single game because the competition here at Stoke City is very hard."
