Stoke City are the latest Premier League club to express an interest in Porto midfielder Giannelli Imbula.

The Daily Express is reporting the Potters face stiff competition for the 23-year-old, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Southampton in hot pursuit of Imbula.

The Frenchman has made only seven appearances for the Portuguese outfit this campaign after joining the club from French side Marseille for £14.7million during the summer.

It is understood Porto's asking price for Imbula is £18.5million, despite the player struggling to make an impact during his six-month stint in the Primeira Liga
