​Stoke humbled by German second-tier side St. Pauli

A severely undermanned Stoke City were beaten 4-2 by St. Pauli on Tuesday.

The Potters were without a number of first-team players, who were ordered not to take the trip to Germany.

City boss Mark Hughes can take a positive from the game, with Spanish striker Joselu bagging a brace.

The 27-year old made it four goals in two games after scoring either side of the half against the 2. Bundesliga side.

Stoke play their final pre-season game on Saturday in Germany.
