Peter Odemwingie will leave Stoke City to join Marseille on loan.

According to the Daily Mail, the Nigerian forward is set to spend the remainder of the season at the Stade Velodrome.

34-year-old Odemwingie has featured only seven times for the Potters this campaign and after teaming up with agent Mark McKay, is likely to be sent to Marseille.

The former Lille and West Bromwich Albion star has six months, plus the option of a further 12 months, on his Stoke deal but Mark Hughes is prepared to let him go.
