Stoke City are ready to pounce for Hoffenheim defender Fabian Johnson.
The USA international intends to leave Hoffenheim at the end of the season, with Stoke rated as favourites for his signature.
"We have fought hard for his signature, but he has decided to leave us," said manager Mark Gisdol.
Borussia Mönchengladbach and Hertha Berlin are also interested in Johnson.
