Stoke City are chasing Besiktas striker Hugo Almeida.

Fanatik says the 29-year-old Portugal striker is being tracked by both the Potters and their Premier League rivals Newcastle United.

The former Porto forward has scored 12 goals in 32 appearances this season but has not netted in his last nine outings.
