Stoke eager to find Jones buyer

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is seeking to sell fringe players in the coming weeks.

The Daily Star says Pulis has been told he must lower the club's current wage bill if he wants to sign ex-Manchester United striker Michael Owen.

That will mean moving on the likes of Kenwyne Jones, Danny Higginbotham, Mamady Sidibe and Michael Tonge.
