Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has made it clear that he wants to keep a pair of key players at the club beyond this summer.
French defensive midfielder N'Zonzi, 26, is deemed as a vital member of Mark Hughes' line-up but has handed in transfer requests in the past two summer windows.
Coates said the Potters are hoping to tie him down to a new deal at the end of the current campaign and also want to try and sort out a permanent contract for Victor Moses who has impressed during his season-long loan from Chelsea.
"Steven N'Zonzi is a big player for us, we would like to extend his contract," Coates told Sky Sports News HQ.
"Victor Moses is an interesting [situation] for us, would like to see how the land lies with that one.
"If we can, we would like to do a deal."
