Stoke City defender Marc Muniesa is sticking close to Bojan Krkic as he recovers from knee surgery.
Muniesa says Bojan has now come to terms psychologically with the devastating effects of the long-term injury he sustained at Rochdale on January 28.
"The injury is really hard," Muniesa told The Sentinel, "because you don't know how the knee is going to respond and you are a long time out of the team.
"I said to him, 'You did really well when you played and showed everybody you are a really good player. The team played really well with you, but now you have to be patient and you have to be focused on your rehabilitation and try to get back next season'.
"Now he is more tranquil and he expects to come back for pre-season, but I also said to him, 'Do not run, you have to be 100 per cent fit'.
"He is at home in Barcelona with his family and he is okay. Yes, I think he is happy when I speak to him."
