Stoke City crock Bojan Krkic has undergone knee surgery.

Krkic underwent an operation in Barcelona on Wednesday, having broke down in their FA Cup win over Rochdale.

The Daily Mail says his ambition is to be back running within three months and is hopeful of returning to light training in May.

There's a confidence of the striker being fully fit for the first day of preseason training.
