Stoke City are chasing highly-rated QPR youngster Michael Petrasso.
The Daily Mail says Canadian Petrasso, 18, was signed for the Rs by Stoke boss Mark Hughes in 2012 following his release from Toronto FC, back when the Welshman was in charge of the west London club.
The dynamic winger has blossomed in the Loftus Road second string side, and following two impressive loan spells at League One clubs Oldham Athletic and Coventry City this season. Hughes is interested in re-signing Petrasso, whose QPR contract expires this summer.
