Stoke City are joining the battle for Ipswich Town defender Tyrone Mings.
The People says the 21-year-old is a target for a host of Premier League clubs with Arsenal chief among them.
But now Stoke boss Mark Hughes is stepping up his pursuit and could even make a move for the £4m-rated youngster this month.
Mings's dad, Adie, is Chelsea's south-west scout but it is Arsenal who lead the queue to sign him with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger taking the unusual step of confirming his interest in the player.
