Stoke boss Pulis still tense over relegation battle

Despite being six points clear of the drop zone, Tony Pulis has warned his Stoke City players not to take Premier League safety for granted. "There are still seven games to go and we have to keep our feet on the ground because there are no gimmes in this league," Pulis told the Sentinel.

"We've got two unbelievable home games to come now, with Alan Shearer coming to town with all the hype.

"We've got to make sure our supporters are up for it. It's a massive, massive game for both clubs.

"We have got to be very level-headed and remember the next game is always the most important.

"We mustn't forget that Sheffield United were something like 10 points clear of trouble at one stage and still went down a couple of years ago."
