Stoke boss Pulis: Pennant desperate to end Wembley jinx

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits Jermaine Pennant is desperate for the chance to play in an FA Cup final.

Pennant was still finding his feet at Arsenal when they reached successive finals at the start of the last decade.

He was cup-tied as they got to the 2003 final. Two years later he was at Birmingham on loan by the time Arsenal made it four final appearances in five seasons.

A £6.7million move to Liverpool came two months after their epic Cardiff win over West Ham, and his stay at Portsmouth was sandwiched between their two finals in 2008 and 2010.

"You could say he's got unfinished business in this competition," said Pulis.
