Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says they can help Michael Owen end his career with a bang.

Former England star Owen, 33, who will hang up his boots this summer, has scored just one goal in seven Potters appearances.

But Pulis insists: "With eight games to go I'm hoping he can be involved as an important impact player from the bench and scoring goals. I still believe it was worth the gamble bringing him here."
