Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is unsure if defender Ryan Shawcross is being watched by England.
Shawcross was outstanding in victory over Liverpool on Saturday.
Pulis told The Sentinel: "If Capello picks him, then brilliant. If he doesn't, no-one in Stoke-on-Trent will think any less of him.
"As with any manager, Capello picks and chooses who he wants, and I will always respect that.
"We think the world of Ryan, and if he does get selected we will be delighted for him."
