Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has heaped praise on Aston Villa counterpart Paul Lambert.

The Welsh dragon claims he has the fire in his belly to handle the heat - just as Braveheart Lambo has done at Villa.

Pulis said: "Paul has done exceptionally well and I've got a lot of time for him. He's a very sound character and very strong - a typical Celt!

"He knows what he wants and he'll stand by himself. In the heat of battle, even if there's no one around backing him, he'll keep fighting. I'm like that myself and it's probably in our Celtic blood."
