Stoke boss Pulis feels for Rangers after snapping up Ness

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is delighted with their capture of Jamie Ness.

But he admits he feels for Ness' former club Rangers and their demise.

"We didn't have to pay anything for him," he told The Sentinel. "It's scandalous really for Rangers, but that's the way it always is.

"Jamie's done all right. He's not done as much as the rest and he's not used to the work-rate that we do.

"He can play anywhere he's told me. He's quite happy to play left-back or left midfield. He looks an athlete as well. Fingers crossed we've got a good young player."
