Stoke City boss Tony Pulis wonders who is pulling the strings at Newcastle United.
While the signing of Yohan Cabaye has proved a brilliant move, Pulis doubts his counterpart Alan Pardew had anything to do with the £5m bargain-buy from Lille.
Welshman Pulis, who takes Stoke to Newcastle tomorrow night, said: "I'm not sure it was Alan who picked Cabaye.
I think there's someone else up there who picks out the players. Whoever it was, though, Cabaye does look a very good player.
"I certainly would never let someone else choose my players for me. It is one of the things I always insist upon in this job."
