Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is eyeing a loan move today for Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
Hughes signed Adebayor for Manchester City.
Tottenham are willing to loan out misfit Adebayor, but any club will have to match his £100,000-a-week wages.
Earlier this season, Hughes recalled of the Togo international: "He wasn't difficult. I liked him as a guy, I thought he was a good character.
"There was always that feeling that he had everything you needed from a top striker. He has size, pace, power and ability on the ball. He's the whole package when he wants to be."
