Stoke boss Hughes says Moses not rattled by controversial week

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes says Victor Moses hasn't been rattled during a controversial week.

Both Swansea City boss Garry Monk and former Wales striker John Hartson accused Moses of cheating during Stoke's win on Sunday.

Hughes, who takes his Potters to in-form Southampton on Saturday, said: "Victor's a strong character. But I hope this week doesn't shape people's view of him.

"What was said of him wasn't correct. We need to recognise when these things go against you.

"I felt it was unjust and wasn't correct. He's a very strong minded player and will get on with business of playing well for Stoke City.

"I haven't needed to speak to Victor. The only thing was he said he felt contact and was impeded, just as I thought."
