Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has made it clear he wants to sign VfL Wolfsburg striker Ivica Olic.

Olic is leaning towards staying with Wolfsburg next season.

But Hughes said: "We'd like to try to bring him here. I think he has the quality we need, it would help the group.

"We've just got to give the guy time to make the decision and if he feels it's not Stoke City then we have to move on. But I don't think it's dead in the water yet."
